I know, I know. It's been a hotttt minute. Since last post I've quit working as a personal trainer. I realized as much as I WANTED that to be the career for me, it just wasn't. Shout out to ADAPT Training for all the knowledge and experience I gained working there for almost 3 years - they know their stuff and you should all
check them out! Apart from my schooling, they are the source of my training philosophy and workout design basis. I got to the point in my career where was feeling super burnt out and lost my passion for fitness it seemed - super depressing when it's your job to be passionate about fitness. After taking the last ten months to regroup, my passion is finally back! I definitely miss teaching classes and the creative outlet building workouts, so I thought I'd 1) revive this blog 2) I'd share my passion via workout with you all! We will start with something simple - a 30 minute cardio sesh. I keep getting spring-teases that the weather is going to turn around and I'll get back to cardio outside, but alas the rain keeps a comin'! So here is a
year round, super easy to follow, treadmill based workout that can be adapted for whatever level you are at.
(Side note - a true warm up is more than 2 minutes/walking or jogging. this will start to increase heart rate and bloodflow, BUT your entire being needs to be prepped head to toe for the performance you're asking it to do...same with the cool down. More on that later... )
I hope you all give it a try, and feel free to comment on workouts you'd like to see! I'll be pinning all these workouts on my
Pinterest too. Happy sweating :)
